 nThis work showcases a diverse range of styles\, from bright and humorou
 s to serious and tender\, with a nod to the matriarchal elders who have 
 shaped our perspective on the world. These works are rooted in stories t
 old around bowls of soup and frybread\, amongst big auntie laughter\, an
 d in humble cultural gestures that become our collective identity. This 
 exhibition is a reminder: we are still here because Uŋči said so.\nSee
 Walker’s signature portraiture paintings hold a deliberate tension: ex
 pressionist surfaces and au courant color palettes that pull the viewer 
 in\, while a hint of realism — most notably in the portraits’ distin
 ct\, knowing eyes — sets the tone\, emotion\, and narrative.\n\nOn vie
